There is a 60 second window from the moment a dish is prepared to be brought to the table to be considered hot. I designed a warming system in which a dish could rest over a heating element while at a table, keeping the contents at an ideal temperature for the span of the meal, drawing form inspiration from Thai culture.

From Model to Mold
The curry boat project started as a 3D modeled print, which was then cast in plaster to create a mold. The final ceramic piece is slip cast in the mold, glazed, and fired.
